Christmas Count Down!
This is it people. Christmas is right around the corner. I always have this master plan to try knitting a few gifts but I never succeed. This year is going to be different. I'm pumped! Let's get this knitting party started! I sorted through all my yarn and figured out what yarn to use for each project and then stuffed it neatly into my extra special Pee Wee Herman bag. (Purchased after seeing Pee Wee on Broadway! Highlight of my adulthood!)
Everything is in there- yarn, needles, notions, etc. I have navy blue and light blue acrylic to knit two baby hats. One for baby C who is 14 months, and one for baby J who is 1 1/2 months. It will be very simple, ribbed with a few stripes. Next is a hat and cowl set in grey wool with cranberry, purple, and peacock blue stripes for my niece who is 10. I love knitting for my favorite little people. At the very bottom of this bag are a few projects for me as well. I can't forget about myself! I have an off-white wool for a squishy warm shawl. (I LOVE SHAWLS!!!!!!) I also have biege tweed for socks and silver and dark turquoise heather for mitts.
I do have some past projects to share but, of course, I am not prepared with photos! Next post, people! Happy Knitting!
