Hello there! Welcome to my little speck of the world! Since this is my first post, I'll give you a little background on me. I live in New York with my loving creative husband and adorably cute kitty named Forest.
My grandmother taught me how to knit and crochet at a very young age but I didn't really get serious about knitting until I was about 18. More recently I've discovered embroidery and cross stitching and I'm slowly building up my stash of DMC floss. I would love to dive deeper into sewing but time is always the enemy. I was lucky enough to go to a specialized high school for art and I hope to incorporate my drawing into my crafting. Hopefully blogging will help me keep on top of all these things.
Currently I have a few projects going. On my needles I have my first attempt at a shawl using Misty Alpaca Lace in Carbon Teal. For my cross stitching itch, I started my first x-x-x adventure of a zombie hand. As far as embroidery, I have been busy drawing up some designs to stitch onto t-shirts and tank tops. I'm going to break out my camera in a few minutes so I hope to get the first pictures of my UFO's posted quickly with all the details.
I read so many great craft blogs from truly talented people and they really inspired me to start this blog. I hope I can do the same for others. Creativity is a beautiful thing and it needs to be shared.
